it’s fancy dress party time
This evening brought to you by:
- Ribbon Clutch from Poise.cc which is large enough to hold everything I need and shaped just perfectly to tuck under an arm.
- My favorite cardigan from the petites section of Nordstrom, I keep hoping they'll bring it back in more colors. Oh please.
- Foot Petals for holding me up in the heels.
- Victoria's Secret for comfortably supporting me through the plunging neckline.
- Hollywood Fashion Tape for making sure there is no peeking. By the way, you can find it at Joann stores now.
- Spanx for the smoothing out the silouette. Spanx also makes the Assets line sold at Target.
My toenails are painted, let's party!
woo hoo! It all looks gorgeous...have fun!

Gorgeous dress! Have fun, and I hope it's not snowy/icy up there!

I cannot express my love of Foot Petals enough! I have a pair of sensible heels, they work with a ton of outfits and are about my only shoes with heels. But my feet hurt after only about 15 minutes of wearing, mostly my toes. This is kind of silly because they're sort of a loafer style, but with about a 1.5" stacked heel - how could those possibly be uncomfortable??? After far too many painful days and nights, I heard about Foot Petals, found some at Nordstrom, and oh my stars and feathers, these shoes don't hurt my feet any more!

Ohhhh, love that dress. I wish you would post a pic w/ it on. So lovely.

I am equally in love with Foot Petals. I broke a bone in the bottom of my foot and non-padded shoes make me miserable. Thankfully these cute little cushion pads make it totally possible for me to wear cute shoes. And I agree with Shelba. I loved the peek at the dress you showed earlier and now I really, really want to see the dress on you. I love the red shining through the overlay. Hope you have a fabulous time at your soiree.

Fancy dress? That all looks very normal(and lovely) to me. Perhaps you are also wearing your Hallowig?
Thanks for the Foot Petals tip - I'm always in agony in heels, so it looks like I should get some...

Oh please post where you got your pretty dress from!

Paola - Fancy dress doesn't mean costume here, I was just trying to say it was a formal party, but that makes it sound like much less fun than it was. I didn't realize the UK meaning until you mentioned, sorry for the confusion.
Lori - Don't laugh, JC Penny.
I'm afraid I don't have a picture of me in the dress as the night was all low lighting and crowded rooms!

Macmiller party? 'Cause that's where we were supposed to be but Hubby wanted to go snowboarding instead. Small world if it was. Cute dress!

Michelle - Nope, it was a private party.

Great tip about Spanx knockoffs at Target. I was longing for some Spanx at the party. The ensemble looked great!!!
